Candidate will be responsible for the whole of organisation - technical aspect of the organization. He/She will be responsible for the plant operation, preventive maintenance regime, framework and the development of the organisation standard operating procedure, while ensuring that the plant operating comply with the necessary regulatory framework, and practices.
Candidate would be expected to demonstrate technical and practical competence in the field of engineering, technical and machinery. For this opening - he/she will report directly to the CEO.
Candidate is required/expected to be well-versed in the technical aspect particularly in heavy machinery used predominately in the manufacturing, paper & pulp, utilities industries. He/She would be required to
Candidate would need to have at least 10 years of professional and working experience in the field of manufacturing, utilities and/or paper & pulp industries. He/She would need to have the experience of managing at least 5-10 teams with approximately 100 technical individuals.
Candidate would be required to manage the financial, operational and management of resources (man, machine, material and method) within the production of the organization. Due to the nature of the majority of the staff involved - individual would need to be well-versed in majority of the Asian language, and cultural norms and practices wthin South East Asia (SEA).
Candidate is physically mobile and active, without aid or assistance - due to the physical nature of this role, he/she is expected to adopt a safety mindset during the operation of the organisation.
